It makes me excited to see news of Christmas albums, specials, etc. slowly streaming in, and this one has the makings of a great moment of TV. On November 23rd, a Sunday, you can catch A Colbert Christmas : The Greatest Gift of All!, which will feature, among other things, performances by Elvis Costello, Feist, Willie Nelson and Colbert himself. Unfortunately, you’ll also have to fast forward your DVR through a Toby Keith performance, but we’ll table that for the time being.
Two days later the already-taped special will be released on DVD to benefit Feed America, which I’m assuming is a charity whose mission is to feed Americans.
