This is some of the best news I’ve ever heard: one of my longtie favorite under the radar bands has been Hockey Night, I fell in love with them after hearing their song For Guys Eyes Only several years ago, which has been a staple on all of my summer playlists since that moment. Well, sadly Hockey Night is not band any longer, but they have formed a “classic rock” band with LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy! This combination of greatness is surely to yeild nothing but excellence.
The album is due out early ’09, but the project is as yet untitled.
