New Live Death Cab – "Cath"

Earlier this week we were treated to the second look at Death Cab’s new LP (May 13 – Atlantic) thanks to a live acoustic session on BBC6. The song, at least in this stripped down form, is a relatively folky number about a girl of all things (People seem to like writing songs about them). I like it! No four minute intro here, just a pretty straight forward, and just plain pretty song about love, and girls, and all that stuff you kids are into nowadays.

It’s one of the new songs Gibbard was playing on tour last summer, though if my memory serves me correctly he was playing it on piano back then.
